Students from Ecole Centrale de Paris visits HK
On 25th March ’08, the Consulate General organized a reception for the students, professors and HK alumni of one of the prestigious French institutions - Ecole Centrale de Paris (ECP).
Some 50 students accompanied by their professors from ECP organized a field trip in their final year of studies in Hong Kong & Macau. They visited the construction sites of the Buildings where French companies are in the front line in the project.
The Consulate General organized a reception so that these students and their accompanied professors could meet the Alumni of ECP working in HK and also the representatives of the French Trade Commission. Upon student’s request Mr. Jean-Pierre Thébault, Consul General of France, demonstrated very vividly the role of a Consulate General and Consul General abroad and the importance of the Consulate General in Hong Kong & Macau.
